1. Agreement

By using the Asteriq website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

Asteriq provides website design and development services for small businesses in South Africa. Specific scope, pricing, and timelines are defined in individual quotes and service agreements.

3. Quotes and payment

  • All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise
  • A 50% deposit is required before work begins
  • Final payment is due before website launch
  • Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR)

4. Client responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate information, content, and assets in a timely manner. Delays may affect project timelines.

5. Intellectual property

Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of the website content they provided and a licence to use the delivered website. We may showcase completed work in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Revisions and scope

Projects include 2 revision rounds as stated in the quote. Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.

7. Limitation of liability

Asteriq is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, or issues caused by third-party services (hosting, domain registrars, etc.). Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project.

8. Cancellation and refunds

  • Before work starts: deposit refundable minus R500 admin fee
  • After work starts: deposit non-refundable
  • Either party may cancel with written notice; client pays for work completed

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
